Yep, we’re having another boy!! This child sure had me fooled. I thought for sure it was going to be a girl since it’s been quite different from Jaxson. At the ultrasound today the heart rate was 164, which is pretty high. Usually when it’s a higher heart rate it tends to be a girl and boys are lower. Jaxson followed that rule to the T with his always being 130’s-140’s. So I told the ultrasound tech that I had been thinking it was a girl because of the high heart rate and she said, "Well, it just depends on how active they are. This one must be more active." Excuse me??!!! They don’t come much more active than Jaxson was. Oh well, we’re just happy that everything looked good and we’re right on track for a January baby. Now all we need is a name. We like Brooks, but neither one of us is set on it, so we are open to any cool names that you might have. My favorite is Preston, but there’s a story that goes with that and I don’t know if Brad really cares for it. No matter what, the middle name is going to be Winter. So leave me a comment with your name ideas.

Congratulations from one boy-maker to another
We’re very excited to have someone else help us overpopulate the neighborhood with little rowdy-makers. I love those cutie photos; the little hands and feet at such an early stage is so incredible to see!

I love those pictures! Soooo amazing!!! I think Brooks is a super cute name. I’ve always also liked Dae’Vionne, Ranaticas, and Hector. I think they each sound really great with Winter Cathcart. Think about it for a while and let me know your thoughts.

Congrats! We are so excited to meet him in January! Boys names are SO hard to come up with. I had thought Brady was a a girl as his heart rate would always be in the 160’s too…those Cathcart boys are ACTIVE!!! Let us know if you need us to help with anything!

I have a had a ton of friends have new babies and here’s some of the names: Bennett, Beckett, Riley, Dashel (weird), Brooks (yes, another Brooks!) Landon, Leighton, Terrill, Lane, Blaze (not crazy for it but he’s adorable!)

wow! i thought you were having a girl, too! (glad I hadn’t gotten you any girl stuff yet!) Here’s the great news: if they are anything like Barrett and Walker, they will be best buds and have a blast growing up together. Congrats!!
